At-Risk Populations, Food Deserts, and Food Swamps in Jefferson County, Colorado

The Jefferson County Public Health (JCPH) Food Policy Council (FPC) has been using several tools to identify areas in Jefferson County that may benefit from additional public engagement, resources, and policies that increase equitable access to healthy, local, and affordable food and support a sustainable community food system. Primary among these mapping tools is the identification of at-risk populations, food deserts, and food swamps.
